ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Katheryn Maddox Haddad began writing at age ten, and was “published” that same year in a local newspaper. She wrote a poem about every chapter in Revelation at the age of 12. She grew up in the cold north and now lives in Arizona where she does not have to shovel sunshine, basking in 100-degree weather along with palm trees and cacti, and practically living on a computer with most of the letters worn off.
With a bachelor’s degree in English, Bible and social science from Harding University and part of a master’s degree in Bible, including Greek, from the Harding Graduate School of Theology, she also has a master’s degree in management and human relations from Abilene Christian University. Her column, Little Known Facts About the Bible, appeared for several years in newspapers in Texas and North Carolina, and she has written for numerous Christian publications.
She spends half of the day writing, and the other half teaching English over the internet worldwide using the Bible as text book. She has taught over 6000 Muslims through World English Institute. Students she has lead to Christ are in hiding in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Somalia, Jordan, and Palestine. She calls them her heroes.
She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and Christian Writers of the West and is an energetic public speaker. For the past ten years she has been sending out an inspirational scripture thought every morning to around 30,000 people. She has written more than 30 books.
